Hahahaha, (LOL). Maybe that is the first impression when someone mention "Kodiang" or some says Kokdiang, or to make it funnier pronoun it as KoKdeeanngg. Some Kedahan also laugh at Kodiang. Why?
Kodiang, not included as a weird name in Malaysia such as Kampung Penajis (Negeri Sembilan), Dada Kering and Bangau (Pahang), Kampung Buangsiol (Sarawak), Felda IceBox (Sabah) or Kampung Batang Bergedik (Perak) or Batang Berjuntai (Selangor). No offence :)
Is it because of the mentality of some individual that look at Kodiang as “Ulu” (isolated)? Which is place that full of poor peoples, smelly or low class farmer? Is that right? Maybe everyone should go there and the check out the places and local peoples. :)
If you ask me I also don’t know why some peoples laugh at it, but I am proud to say that I’m from Kodiang. Hahahaha...
